It’s important to make arrangements for your children which will support and nurture them. We will work with you to put their needs first, taking into account the practicalities of separated life.
In Australia, divorce is usually the easiest step to take. We will take care of the paperwork so that you can move towards freedom and a new life on your own terms.

We understand that separating from your partner, particularly when the relationship has been toxic, can be traumatic and lonely. We are trauma-informed, which means your physical and emotional safety is paramount.
How it works
You can schedule a free 15-minute phone call with Caroline Parsons, Principal Lawyer at Solo Legal. At this stage, we won’t provide legal advice. We just want to understand what you’re facing, to see if we can help.
If we can help, we’ll arrange a strategy session. Either at your home or office or by videoconference. The session will be for around an hour and cost $400 plus GST. During the session we’ll work through the steps of separation and workshop your path forward.
If you decide to engage Solo Legal, we’ll send you a retainer setting out our fixed fees or an agreed hourly rate and overall estimate to complete your matter. We will be open, transparent and proactive to ensure you can manage your legal costs effectively.
"I have found Caroline to be the most supportive, compassionate, and understanding family lawyer. She is extremely professional, diligent, and honest. Furthermore she is someone who I have trusted with personal matters during a very difficult separation. I highly recommend her as a professional, kind and supportive lawyer and would like to personally thank Caroline for all she has done for me.”
