We understand that separating from your partner, particularly when the relationship has been toxic, can be traumatic and lonely. We are trauma-informed, which means your physical and emotional safety is paramount.

How it works

First call

You can schedule a free 15-minute phone call with Caroline Parsons, Principal Lawyer at Solo Legal. At this stage, we won’t provide legal advice. We just want to understand what you’re facing, to see if we can help.

Strategy session

If we can help, we’ll arrange a strategy session. Either at your home or office or by videoconference. The session will be for around an hour and cost $400 plus GST. During the session we’ll work through the steps of separation and workshop your path forward.

From there...

If you decide to engage Solo Legal, we’ll send you a retainer setting out our fixed fees or an agreed hourly rate and overall estimate to complete your matter. We will be open, transparent and proactive to ensure you can manage your legal costs effectively.
